Hazlitt turns the dial from DAB radio

On the pavement of Leicester Square, outside Fru Hazlitt’s office, are inscribed the distances to various points in the old British Empire.

On Monday, in a radical strategy presentation, Ms Hazlitt, “Empress” of GCap Media for less than eight weeks, voluntarily shrank her own imperial frontier. She announced cuts that she said would produce savings of more than £12m and reactions to the plans focused on the withdrawal from digital radio.
