Bomb blast adds to Serbia tension

A powerful bomb went off beneath a residential building in southern Serbia early on Tuesday morning, injuring a woman and a 13-year-old girl and damaging 16 apartments, investigators said.

The attack in a mainly Serb neighbourhood in Presevo, an ethnic Albanian-dominated city, has added to fears of rising ethnic tensions and a potential resurgence of Balkan separatist violence.
