Sales of slimming pills boost Goldshield

The surge in popularity of slimming pills has driven sales growth at Goldshield Group, which this week became a takeover target for a mystery potential bidder.

“Although we have not been immune from the effects of the recession, I am very encouraged by these results,” said Rankesh Patel, chief executive of the drugmaker.
