White Stuff profits from treats in stores

White Stuff, the clothing brand aimed at trendy working mothers, has provided a ray of sunshine amid the recessionary gloom on the high street with a 47 per cent rise in sales during the first half of its trading year.

Growth was achieved partly through opening stores at a rate of roughly one a month, bringing the total number of outlets up to 63. The 64th store will open in Kingston this weekend.
