DSG International, Europe’s second-biggest electricals retailer, is speeding up its store revamp programme in spite of languishing in the red for a second year after shoppers cut back on big purchases for the home.
The owner of the Currys and PC World chains said sales had fallen more sharply than its rival, Kesa Electricals, dropping 9 per cent on a like-for-like basis in the year to May 2.
