SABMiller creeps into Nigeria

SABMiller is making a subtle push into the lucrative Nigerian beer market, threatening territory dominated by rivals Heineken and Diageo.

The London-listed brewer, which on Thursday reported flat annual underlying lager sales volumes, has entered the Nigerian market after buying a small brewery named Pabod in the country’s south-east in December.
