Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown

If you are a chief executive in the US, you have more chance of staying in your job than if you are the head of a European company, as rising investor activism and differences in corporate governance hit home.

Europe last year overtook the US as the region with the highest proportion of top corporate departures, according to Weber Shandwick, one of the world's largest PR consultancies.
