Investors stay cool in the US – for now

The world’s stock markets may have plummeted around them, but many US retail investors have kept their cool. For now.

Financial advisers say that while the number of calls they’ve received from clients has increased this week, their anxiety hasn’t yet led many individuals to abandon investment strategies set in less volatile times.
