Bear Stearns duo set to stand trial

A federal jury will this week start to hear the first and only criminal case against Wall Street executives to stem from the credit crisis.

The trial, in a courtroom in Brooklyn, New York, of Ralph Cioffi and Matthew Tannin, two former Bear Stearns hedge fund managers, will put a spotlight on the way banks and other institutions communicated to investors as the credit crisis got under way.
