Mendillo returns to Harvard to run $35bn fund

Harvard University has turned to one of its former investment stars to fill one of the highest-profile jobs in fund management, the head of its $35bn endowment fund.

Jane Mendillo, chief investment officer at Wellesley College, has been brought back to become the president and chief executive of Harvard Management Company at the beginning of July. HMC run’s the biggest US college endowment.
