Poles probe CIA facility claims

Donald Tusk, Poland's prime minister, has asked the country's justice minister to investigate reports that Poland's military intelligence agency had confirmed the existence of a secret CIA detention facility within its borders.

Slawomir Nowak, a senior adviser to Mr Tusk, told Poland's Tok FM radio yesterday that the country's prosecutor's office had also launched an inquiry into the recent reports.
