Mothercare bolstered by strong overseas sales

Strong demand for pushchairs and children’s clothing across Russia and India boosted Mothercare’s sales in the first quarter.

The mother and baby products retailer said international sales had jumped 32.7 per cent in the fifteen weeks to July 10, flattered in part by the weak pound.
