EMI in talks to outsource US distribution

EMI, the troubled music company owned by entrepreneur Guy Hands, is in talks with rival music labels to outsource its music distribution in the US.

EMI has been in negotiations with several labels, including its larger competitors, Warner Music, Sony Music and Universal Music.
