‘No value’ for investors as Maxjet folds

The bankruptcy of Maxjet Airways, an all-business-class long-haul airline, has left hundreds of transatlantic passengers stranded.

The US airline, which floated in London in July raising £43m ($86m) on the Alternative Investment Market, said on Christmas Eve that rapidly deteriorating finances had forced it to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which will lead to a sale or liquidation of assets.
