Brokers urge investors to sell B&B shares

Bradford & Bingley shares remain a "sell", say stockbrokers, in spite of this week's private equity bail-out and the slashing of the bank's rights issue price.

But with typical individual shareholdings - many dating back to the bank's demutualisation in 2000 - now worth less than £200, most private investors are expected to hang on to their stock in the hope of some recovery.
