First football corruption arrest made

Police investigating corruption in football have made their first arrest, as the Premier League decides whether to make public the findings of its probe into irregular transfer dealings.

The City of London police’s economic crime unit arrested a 61-year-old man on May 23 on suspicion of money laundering.
