Economic populism works in Argentina

Sir, In your editorial "Argentine obstinacy" (October 23) you say Argentina's strong economic recovery is endangered by today's economic policy. You argue that our 9 per cent annual growth is the result - almost exclusively - of a positive external environment, and not of what you define as "interventionist populism". In fact, this "interventionist populism" made possible the recovery and the present healthier macroeconomic picture.
