Harman says expenses report may be diluted

The long-awaited Kelly report into MPs’ expenses could be watered down with at least one of its most stringent recommendations dropped, Harriet Harman indicated on Sunday.

The leader of the House of Commons said MPs should not be forced to sack any relatives they employ, even if this is suggested in Sir Christopher Kelly’s review of pay and perks.
