It’s safer to jump ship before everything sinks

The accepted wisdom is that anyone would have to be mad to think about leaving their final salary pension scheme.

But in the current climate, which is making some employers financially fragile, transferring out before it is too late should be considered – particularly as pension compensation levels are capped at a relatively low amount.
