Met faces lesser charges over shooting

The Crown Prosecution Service on Monday said the Metropolitan Police Authority would face health and safety charges over the fatal shooting of an innocent man but no individual charges would be levied at officers.

The CPS said that there was “insufficient evidence” to bring a prosecution against any one officer.
