Sony Pictures Entertainment is to sell its 21 per cent stake in Shine Group, the production company founded and controlled by Elisabeth Murdoch, her spokesman said on Thursday.
JPMorgan has been appointed to find an owner or owners for the stake, although a person familiar with the company said Ms Murdoch might buy some of it herself, increasing her majority stake in Shine.
