Markets out of step on timing of US rate rise

When will the Federal Reserve start raising interest rates again from their current level of nearly zero? The range of estimates is astonishingly broad.

The futures market – which only a few weeks ago was pricing in a Fed rate rise this year – has pushed back the date until next year, but is still pricing in some tightening by February.
