Blue wax shavings at Stonehenge

The A303 somewhere near Stonehenge seems an unlikely place for a piece of jewellery to begin life. But strapped into the passenger seat in traffic on the August Bank Holiday weekend seemed a good a time as any to start carving away at the blue wax ring blank that arrived in the post the week before.

The man responsible for me being covered in blue wax shavings was Tony Power of Cox & Power goldsmiths on Marylebone High Street.
