France Telecom faces up to crisis with employees

A series of suicides at France Telecom could hamper the company's drive to cut costs but would probably have a limited effect on its overall profitability, analysts have said.

The former French monopoly has been rocked by the suicides of 24 of its employees since the beginning of last year, which union leaders blame on harsh management practices and restructuring.
