Even as the creation of a “new” General Motors is due to be consummated, fresh uncertainties emerged about the future of Delphi, the carmaker’s biggest parts supplier and one of the sharpest thorns in its side.
The Michigan-based parts maker, which has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since October 2005, says it is talking to “several interested parties” that may join a bidding contest for its assets.
