Probe shines spotlight on pair of JPMorgan accounts

The US regulators’ probe into the role played by Frank DiPascali, one of the key figures in Bernard Madoff’s $65bn Ponzi scheme, throws a spotlight on two accounts held by Mr Madoff’s firm with JPMorgan Chase.

The latest revelations could prove of interest to investors and other parties that have lodged lawsuits against the US bank over the Madoff affair. JPMorgan declined to comment on the accounts but has denied allegations made in some of the lawsuits.
