World Retail Congress 2007 Carrefour, the world's second-largest grocery retailer, is planning to move into Russia by the end of the year as grocers jostle for position in fast-growing emerging economies.
The French retailer is thought to have appointed Didier Fleury, who runs its Italian operation, to head the Russian expansion.
