Top 9/11 suspects move to plead guilty

Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, the self-confessed mastermind of the 9/11 terror attacks, on Monday told a judge at Guantánamo Bay that he wanted to plead guilty, paving the way for possible execution.

In a letter to the president of the military commission, Mr Mohammed, widely known as KSM, and his four alleged co-conspirators said they wanted to confess immediately.
