Océ, the Dutch printer and copier maker, on Thursday announced further job cuts after US and European customers postponed orders, contributing to a 70 per cent drop in second-quarter net profit.
The company, a leader in wide-format printers used by architects and in continuous-feed printers that generate bank statements, said it would cut an additional 600 jobs worldwide in 2009 in a new round of cost-cutting to save a further €50m ($79m).
