* Old Mutual Asset Managers UK has lured Stewart Cowley away from Newton Investment Management, where he was investment leader, fixed income, to take up the position of head of fixed interest and macro.
* Taking his place at Newton will be Paul Brain , who has been alternate manager of Newton's global bond portfolios for four years as well as investing a number of credit portfolios.
