Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, on Thursday appealed to the American leadership to “just get on with” devising a workable programme to address the global financial crisis, as business leaders at Davos expressed growing unease about the impact of the turmoil on global growth.

Mr Dimon also urged political and financial leaders alike to face up to the depth of the crisis, and acknowledge their mistakes, so that they could move forward.
