GSK falls back on acquisition worries

Acquisition worries sent GlaxoSmithKline into retreat on Tuesday as the London market ended a three-day winning streak.

GSK shares were down 1.2 per cent to £10.04 amid speculation that it could bid more than $15bn for Allergan, the maker of cosmetic treatments such as Botox injections. Both companies declined to comment.
