Hulu boosts content in bid to rival YouTube

Hulu, the online video group formed by NBC Universal and News Corp, has bolstered its content library after signing deals with Warner Brothers, Lionsgate Entertainment and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer ahead of its launch tomorrow.

The site, which was formed last year in response to YouTube, will also launch a new advertising model that it hopes will boost returns from its video content.
