Police are questioning four men arrested in London on Tuesday in connection with a loose international terror network with alleged links in Canada, the Balkans and elsewhere.

The Metropolitan police said the arrests were "in relation to international terrorism". But security officials said they were the latest arrests in a series of raids in several countries connected with the detention in Sarajevo last October of a group of men allegedly found in possession of weapons, explosives and a suicide bomb belt.
