In defence of competition

What kind of economy produces large corporations that are simulataneously extremely good and extraordinarily bad? The answer is a globalised one that is still overregulated.

This is an observation that occurs as a result of two recent experiences: having a miserable time on what should be a wonderful airline and trying to get service out of what, in strategic terms, is one of the world’s savviest banks.
