Capital raising concerns weigh on Japan

Japanese stocks closed at a six-week low on Wednesday as concerns about a recent rush by companies to tap the market for funds weighed on sentiment.

The Nikkei 225 Average dropped 0.6 per cent to 9,676.80, its lowest finish since October 5.
