Markit forecasts revenue surge

Revenues at Markit are expected to grow more than 20 per cent next year, underlining the ongoing strong demand for market data and services in spite of the effects of the financial crisis.

The financial information provider is also forecasting its revenues will have risen about 25 per cent this year with growth of 30 per cent in its earnings before accounting-related charges.
