Vishnu Dusad is bucking the trend of Indian investment in China by focusing on the domestic market rather than the export business. As managing director of Nucleus Software, a New Delhi-based software developer, Mr Dusad is leading the company’s expansion into China’s rapidly growing banking market.

“Some of these banks have 20,000 branches across the country,” he says. “It all depends on when they are ready to introduce [our] system.” Nucleus Software has hired a Chinese IT company to pilot distribution of its software in Jinan.
