Bush to visit Nato and the European Union

President George W. Bush's trip to Europe early next year will mark a commitment to multilateral institutions, improving transatlantic ties and supporting the European project, the White House has signalled.

The foreign tour - likely to be the president's first after his second-term inauguration in January - will include visits to Nato headquarters and to the European Union in Brussels.
