Shed in US product placement deal

Shed Media has signed a product placement deal for the US edition of its genealogy programme Who Do You Think You Are?, which it hopes will help persuade the UK government to allow similar advertising.

The arrangement with NBC, which will broadcast the series in the US, and Ancestry.com, the Utah-based online genealogy company, means that the advertiser gets limited mention of its research services in each episode.
