When Budget Insurance found its business expanding faster than the local labour pool in the UK, it looked abroad. After considering popular “offshoring” countries such as India and the Philippines, it settled on South Africa.

“We wanted a destination where the buying public were at ease and felt they were being served well, and South Africa has that,” says Adam Winslow, who heads the company’s Cape Town site.
