Exxon and Chevron take different paths to extract success

There is a joke in the US oil industry that ExxonMobil could not find oil in a gas station, but once it is given to them they manage its production to perfection. Chevron, on the other hand, finds oil everywhere, but that is when the trouble starts.

Analysts are eager to see how the two American oil majors compete against each other during the next few difficult years.
