Warburg Pincus picks up Trema

Warburg Pincus, the private equity group, has made a second foray into the outsourced financial services technology with the acquisition of Trema in a deal believed to be of up to $150m.

The private equity group has backed a group of executives aiming to build a force in treasury and capitalmarket transaction processing and which is thought to be considering listing the business in the future.
