Europe pre-eminent in networked economies,
WEF survey finds

Europe’s small rich countries continue to dominate the top ranks of the world’s most networked economies, but the UK has ceded its place in the top 10 to South Korea, the World Economic Forum said in its latest global information technology report published Wednesday.

Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland head this year’s league table, followed by the US and Singapore. Finland, the Netherlands, Iceland and Norway make up the rest of the top 10, with South Korea in ninth place, a leap of 10 places from last year.
