Sir, So, a prospective Tory administration is likely to attempt to bring business "big hitters" into government to shake up the civil service culture (report, November 2). What might also be of value, particularly in the wake of the near meltdown of the economy over the past 18 months, would be a reverse flow of civil service "big hitters" to shake up the "chase the money and ignore the risk" culture of so much of the financial sector.
