The growth model of Emerging Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA) remains alive in spite of the financial and economic crisis, believes David Hauner, head of emerging EMEA economics at Banc of America Securities- Merrill Lynch.

Offering a marked contrast to the widely-held view of EEMEA as a prime victim of the crisis, he argues that some countries may even experience an acceleration in growth.
