S Korea to resume rice aid to North

South Korea will resume sending rice aid to North Korea from Saturday, as Pyongyang begins steps towards nuclear dismantlement, the unification minister said on Tuesday.

The 400,000 tonnes of rice will be donated bilaterally, in addition to the 44,000 tonnes of food donations that Seoul is making through the United Nations World Food Programme.
