Henderson tries to keep investors on board

Henderson Global Investors, the British fund manager, has asked investors in its flagship hedge fund to back a restructuring in return for lower fees after poor performance led to heavy withdrawals.

Henderson’s $660m (£378m) European Absolute Return fund, run by Stephen Peak, fell 16 per cent in September and is now offering investors who stick with it a permanent cut in fees. It is down 22 per cent this year.
