Carphone Warehouse boss Charles Dunstone's cautious comments about the retail environment may have spooked investors yesterday, but on the analyst call, he indicated that plans for the BestBuy launch in the UK were on track. Asked by Nick Bubb of Pali International if there were more store sites available now that several financial institutions seemed to be in a spot of bother, Mr Dunstone said that he was going through a short list of retail sites for BestBuy stores. "There are plenty of people approaching us - both landlords and retailers. I don't think we'll have any trouble finding good sites," he said, adding that the stores would probably be launched around the second quarter of next year.
