Government holds talks with travel industry

The government on Friday said it was holding talks with representatives from the travel industry following the collapse of XL Leisure overnight.

Rival travel companies Thomson and First Choice also said they were doing “everything they can” to assist passengers stranded abroad by the collapse of XL Leisure.
